W sobotę, 19 maja w V&A Museum w Londynie otworzona została wystawa "Ballgowns: British glamour since 1950".
Wystawa prezentuje ponad 60-letnię historię brytyjskiej mody, od lat 50-tych do chwili obecnej. Możemy oglądać suknie wieczorowe m.in.: Victor Stiebela, Zandry Rhodes, Jonathana Saundersa i Husseina Chalayana. Ciekawostką są również suknie balowe noszone przez kobiety z rodziny królewskiej - na wystawie znajduje się słynna suknia "Elvis Dress" zaprojektowana przez Catherine Walker dla Księżnej Diany.
